“Dərs Evi” regularly holds final and admission exams in accordance with the SEC rules.
Final trial examination
The final trial examinations include 90 closed-ended questions in 3 subjects (Native Language, English, Mathematics) as per the second stage of the final exams for 9th graders. The total score is 210. The exam duration is 2 hours and 15 minutes.
11th graders are given 85 questions. The exam duration is 3 hours.
Native language - 2 texts for reading and understanding (literary, non fiction), 10 questions for each text (5 open + 5 closed-ended) and 10 closed-ended questions on grammar. Total: 30 tasks
Mathematics - 7 open-ended questions to be solved with step by step explanation + 5 open-ended standard questions + 13 closed-ended questions.
Total: 25 tasks
Foreign language – 1. Listening text (non fiction or dialogue) - 6 tasks (3 open + 3 written closed-ended);
2. 8 tasks for reading comprehension text (non fiction or fiction) (4 closed + 4 written open-ended);
3. 16 closed-ended questions on grammar. Total: 30 tasks
Admission trial examination
The 3-hour trial exam includes tasks for 4 specialty groups.
Group I: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
Group II: Mathematics, Geography, History
Group III: Azerbaijani (Russian), History, Literature
Group IV: Chemistry, Biology, Physics
Group V: Azerbaijani (Russian), Mathematics, Foreign language
Applicants will be given 30 test questions in each subject (22 closed + 8 open-ended).
Three of the open-ended questions are situational or text-based tasks that require a written response. Other open-ended questions include calculation, selection, chronology, and matching.
